How To Get Rejected for Every Application

by Kitty Lavender

Please note: No fosters were applied for badly in the making of this article. No apps were harmed either. Please note that this article is mainly for laughs; do not try this on any TNO fosters. It’s probably going to annoy the owner.

Hello, all, and welcome to my first How To Get Rejected article! Each issue of the Quill I will be providing helpful tips on how to get rejected for just about anything!

When applying for a pet, it is always important to remember that you may not want the pet. In such a case, you must make sure that you are the positively worst applicant possible. But before becoming the worst applicant possible, you must remember why you do not want this pet. Motivation is key in all bad-app writing. There may be many reasons why you do not want the pet:

1. You do not have room
2. You do not want to spend money
3. Neopets is for babies

Whatever the reason, remember it. Motivation is key. You must never lose sight of your goal. Now, onto the basic steps for horrible app-writing.

#1: Call the pet by the wrong gender.
Better yet, call the pet an "it"! There is nothing a foster parent hates more than their pet being reduced to an "it", and it is definitely going to get you on the right track to being rejected.

#2: Call the pet by the wrong name.
If you’re applying for Petname6785, do call it Surfboard21. Not only does it confuse the owner, but it shows complete lack of regard or care for the pet.

#3: Put retrading/converting/repainting the pet in your plans.
People just absolutely hate seeing their hard work go down the drain. That’s why you should do it! Consider saying you want to morph someone’s Coconut Jubjub into a Green Uni, your dream pet of all time, or convert someone’s UC Darigan Eyrie and then paint it Blue. Works like a charm.

#4: Pound another pet for the pet.
Now, usually this only peeves off foster parents, and not just random PCers downsizing. Pounding another pet for the pet you are applying for shows that to you pets are disposable pixels, easily replaceable by another, cooler model.

#5: Take down all your look ups and erase all evidence of characters for your pets.
If you have look ups up, take them down, and if you have characters/back-stories for your pets, don’t mention it. Characters for your pets show that you take time and effort to improve your pet’s life, and we wouldn’t want that.

#6: Mispel evry wurd.
Nothing is more of an eyesore than misspelled words. Try to misspell words as often as possible, and even throw a few numbers in to make your app that much more confusing.

Well, I hope these tips help you get rejected again and again! If not, you’re just too good of an owner, doomed to be accepted forever. Tune in next time for How to Get Rejected From The Quill!
