Robot Abominable Snowball
Everyone is familiar with these popular and lovable petpets. Despite the warnings they are quite hardy and resistant to sunshine but do tend to drip a bit in the warmer climates (stock up on sunscreen.) Abominable Snowballs are playful, friendly and garrulous.
Number One the Abominable Snowball (Robot)
Personality: Number One’s been around quite a long time! He’s acquired quite a lot of useless trivia which he loves to spout constantly. His hero is the Brain Tree.
Pet Preference: No water pets, he has a fear of rusting.
Level of Domestication: ****
Altalaphus
This fat little creature has long been domesticated and has adapted its diet to include Altador’s famous breads and cheeses so it would probably be just at home in Meridell. The Altalaphus is not at all intelligent but it is loyal and true and would make an excellent Petpet for a young Neopet. They make charming little ‘whoot’ sounds in variations depending on what they are trying to communicate. The call “who whooit” apparently means, “Bread and Cheese please.”
Teg the Altalaphus
Personality: A wonderful friend for someone who has a fondness for cheese. Teg is quite an inactive pet and would not be suitable for an impatient or lively Neopet but rather for someone who prefers reading or eating cheese. He is quite a connoisseur of the latter so perhaps he could be useful in a cheesery.
Pet Preference: Someone sedentary.
Level of Domestication: ****
Abominable Snowball
Everyone is familiar with these popular and lovable petpets. Despite the warnings they are quite hardy and resistant to sunshine but do tend to drip a bit in the warmer climates (stock up on sunscreen.) Abominable Snowballs are playful, friendly and garrulous.
Blueberry the Abominable Snowball (Blue)
Personality: His color makes him easy to spot when frolicking on Terror Mountain. Will eat nothing but Blueberry Snow Puffs in order to maintain his color.
Pet Preference: Best suited for cold-weather pets.
Level of Domestication: ***
Apis
Apis store water in their hump, it keeps them going for many days when travelling across the desert.
Baxter the Apis
Personality: Outgoing, charming, composed and clever, Baxter is the intellectual petpet your foster has been dreaming of. He dislikes being predictable, and his favorite hobby is writing in quiet places. Though he adores coffee, the caffeine never seems to affect him during the day, but he suffers bouts of insomnia at night.
Pet Preference: He dislikes loud noises and normal routines, and would prefer if his owner shared at least some similar traits. He is very patient and can get along well with timid or shy pets. He is social, but not needy, and is perfect for an owner who enjoys a semi-active lifestyle.
Level of Domestication: ****
Buzzer (Christmas)
Buzz buzz buzz! Keep your pet happy all day, playing with this buzzy thing!
Nick the Christmas Buzzer
Personality: Nick and his twin brother Nack, love to get into trouble. Although they sometimes make a mess, they're good-hearted and would always do the right thing in the end.
Pet Preference: A loyal owner who can teach him what's right and wrong.
Level of Domestication: ***
Cheerlub
A lively, jolly little creature that loves to play. Cheerlubs make high pitched meeeba meeb noises when extremely happy.
Trina the Cheerlub
Personality: Trina is a real cheerleader! She's really perky and is always ready for fun. She's a hyper little Cheerlub 24/7, 365 1/4 days a year. She's happy to do anything, except for jumping off cliffs. Then she freaks out a little bit. Anything else, she does with happiness, never letting herself show that she might hate a job.
Pet Preference: Someone who stays up really late. Also, someone who has the same ideas of fun, which is almost everything and anything.
Level of Domestication: ****
Kyle the Cheerlub
Personality: Kyle LOVES to play sports. Soccer/football (depending on where you are), tennis, swimming, whatever! Kyle is a real athlete, but he is a really sore winner. Losing doesn't bother him much, he just gloats about his most recent victory. It can be a real pain sometimes.
Pet Preference: Someone who doesn't get hurt over poor sportsmanship, and also a really active pet.
Level of Domestication: ****
Ghostkerchief
If you blow your nose on him then he will not be very happy. The ghostkerchief haunts peoples pockets!
George the Ghostkerchief
Personality: George is a simple petpet who only needs a place to rest and a Neopet to love him. His hobbies include taking strolls in the Haunted Forest and hopscotch.
Pet Preference: Any Neopet who loves the simple joys of life..
Level of Domestication: ****
Spencer the Ghostkerchief
Personality: He used to be a normal M+S hanky till someone cast a spell on him! Now he just floats about pulling faces at people and generally being a pain.
Pet Preference: He wants a neopet as immature as he is. Ghost would be ideal so they can float through walls together
Level of Domestication: ***
Gasper the Ghostkerchief
Personality: Gasper is very friendly, but he loves playing practical jokes! Whatever you do, don’t mistake Gasper for a washcloth; he hates water!
Pet Preference: Just make sure you know where you put your tissues and check before you blow your nose!
Level of Domestication: ***
Jinjah
Jinjah are possibly the fastest petpets on two legs. That’s because they really are very edible and tasty and since they don’t exactly blend into the primarily white and green Winter World they often need to make a quick get away. Make sure you do not have a greedy pet!
Julie the Jinjah
Personality: OMG! Did you, like, know that Jason is like, her boyfriend? Yeah, I was shocked too. Jack? No, they broke up like, WAY long ago. Jack is such a jerk, he started dating Jackie like, the very next day! Can you believe that?
Pet Preference: Obviously, she's a bit of a dramatic teenager. So no one too serious, and no one not willing to hear a bit of gossip. Someone similar to her, who loves shopping and gossiping, would be best. No guys wanted. Would totally ruin her aura.
Level of Domestication: ***
Pinceron
Pinceron will give anyone who tries to scare your pet a nasty nip!
Gangel the Pinceron
Personality: This robotic petpet is a menace is disguise. Constantly causing havoc around the PAA office, his tricks leave the other petpets in stitches, and Caz confused, angry, and often covered in jelly. Gangel is also very clever, but instead of putting his wits to good use, he constantly uses his intelligence to cause trouble.
Pet Preference: A quiet pet may calm him down, but any cheeky ones out there will absolutely love this purple prankster.
Level of Domestication: **
Polarchuck
Polarchucks are found all over Happy Valley where they live on warmer slopes and sunny woodland areas. They forage in the snow for food (roots and bulbs mostly) that thrive in the cold soil. Polarchucks are inquisitive, friendly and trusting petpets. They love the company of others. They are possibly the most talkative of all the species and constantly whir and mutter their pleasure or unhappiness to their owners.
Whitley the Polarchuck
Personality: I named her Whitley because it means white but also because she is quite witless. She is full of joy and love but she never watches where she is going and constantly collides and bounces off things. Being intelligent she should be easily trainable to fetch and carry and do simple tasks but these usually end in disaster!
Pet Preference: A pet with padded furniture and nothing from the pottery shop!
Level of Domestication: ***
Aemilius the Polarchuck (pronounced Emi-lius)
Personality: Like all Polarchucks Emi is eager to help, to play, to have fun. He is very energetic and only sleeps a few hours a day. He needs constant attention because left to his own devices he usually gets into trouble, not out of a need to make mischief but because he is curious and likes to investigate.
Pet Preference: A pet who can get by without much sleep.
Level of Domestication: ****
Dabney the Polarchuck
Personality: She is a sweet and rather gentle soul, much less boisterous than a polarchuck is normally but still as demanding and requiring of affection and attention. She will need to go with your pet to school, the shops and anywhere else as she will not bear being left behind and will whine and then not eat.
Pet Preference: A pet who can handle the responsibility of taking her out.
Level of Domestication: ****
Ramiro the Polarchuck
Personality: Ramiro has a tendency to correct all wrongs he comes across. While he does this with good judgement, at times it can get a little tedious. Grammar, people fighting, anything he sees he'll jump into and try and fix it.
Pet Preference: He needs a pet who can take advice, but also teach Ramiro a few things. Soft-spoken pets probably wouldn't be a very good match, since Ramiro needs someone to put him in his place and restrain him at times.
Level of Domestication: ***
Rudolf the Polarchuck
Personality: He has a permanent cold the poor fellla. Oddly enough his nose goes blue rather than red. Despite his ailment, he is very sweet, if a little snuffley
Pet Preference: A neopet with a huge supply of kleenex!
Level of Domestication: ****
Snow Slorg
These crawling and often reviled petpets are from the Haunted Woods but that doesn’t make them evil or even twisted – much. They are just as loving as any other petpet and are generally exuberant and eager to fit in and be liked. They do tend to leave slime everywhere so be warned!
Tuyet the Slorg (Snow)
Personality: Although she was born in the Haunted Woods and lived there wild until captured and painted Snow, Tuyet is a wonderful pet little girl although some pets might find her too doting and adoring. She loves hugs and cuddles. Since being painted Tuyet no longer leaves a trail of slime but she does tend to drip and make everything rather moist.
Pet Preference: A pet who doesn't mind damp.
Level of Domestication: ****
Yullie
Yullies are found living in the treetops of the forests of Terror Mountain. They are shy and reclusive and seldom seen; yet take very readily to the life of a petpet when captured, forming strong and loving bonds with their owners. They do not like harsh noises and bustle so city life or an active household is not for them. They are extremely loyal and despite their small size and timid natures can be quite fierce if they feel the need to protect their owners. Otherwise Yullies are meek and not overly demanding.
Hollis the Yullie
Personality: A quick thinking, quick mannered, quick-tempered boy who is also brave. Hollis is the prefect petpet for a pet who likes games, football, climbing trees and generally being active and busy. He is also great to take along on adventures.
Pet Preference: An adventurer.
Level of Domestication: ***
Jerry the Yullie
Personality: A wise-guy, and a joker. He loves acting the fool, doing silly stuff, and making people laugh. He's very gregarious, and often times you can't get a word in edgewise. The world is his stage-If he's not cracking jokes, he's acting.
Pet Preference: Someone who is a good audience, loves to laugh, and doesn't mind his constant talking.
Level of Domestication: ***
