For those of you, like me, who were, and maybe still are, HTML deficient, here are some examples to help you set up your Adoptee Ad!
When you first look at an adoptee thread, one of the first things you'll notice is that most foster parents will prominently display their RULES, because of course we all want prospective parents to follow them.
So when you begin constructing your Adoptee Ad, try and think of some rules that you might like foster parents to follow. These rules might look something like this:
You MUST Read The TNO Adoption FAQ!!! In Your Application Please Do Not Use Chat Abbreviations and Use Correct English. Please Refer To the Pet By Its Correct Name and Gender. These three specific rules are not necessary in and of themselves, and there are many more possobilites for rules, but hopefully they give you an idea of what you'll need for your ad.
It's also good to put a phrase in the last rule that they'll have to put in their neomail to you so that you know they read the rules.
And it's also a good idea to go ahead and make a statment that just by applying they are not guaranteed to get the pet and that pets will NEVER be sold, just as a safeguard in case TNT gives you any trouble!
SO, now that you've constructed your Rules, you'll want to display your pets.
You'll see that many people, have a row of small pictures of their pets in their first post so that you can see an overview of all of their adoptable pets without having to go through all the posts in their thread.
To achieve this just copy in the following code and fill in the appropriate images:
