What is Billo Gold?
Billo Gold is a group of TNO foster parents. Any member who passed the Billo Gold test will become a Billo Gold foster parent. Being a Billo Gold foster parent has several advantages within TNO. Members who are on Billo's Approved list can:

-List their foster's in TNO's orphanage

-Become part of the Billo's Gold usergroup in the forums

-Become eligible to receive certain items for their foster pets in the TNO Mall

Being a member of Billo Gold is not required to foster pets with TNO. Anyone can use the Adoptee Ads board to advertise their foster pets, but becoming a Billo Gold foster parent gives more exposure and opportunities.

How do I become part of Billo Gold?
The first step in becoming a Billo Gold member is to take a trip over to the Academy. You'll want to take some time to read over the Academy Syllabus, as this will let you know all about fostering with TNO. After reading through it, you need to take the Billo Gold Test. The test can be found at the very end of the syllabus.

If you've read over the syllabus, you'll have no problems with the test. There aren't any trick questions in it, everything is covered!

Okay, I took the test...now what?
Because the test is automatically graded, you should have a pretty good idea of whether or not you passed (80 and above is passing). If you didn't pass, retake the test immediately and as many times as you need to - once you have gotten a better grade, just sit back and wait for you name to be added to the billo gold approved list! Test results should be processed within a week, though normally they're processed quicker than that. If it's been more than a week, contact one of the Billo Gold Staff to find out what happened to your test.

Just because you're not a Billo Gold parent doesn't mean you have to wait to start improving a foster! You can use the time it takes to grade your exam to take a foster to the lab ray or start improving their health. For more ideas on improving your foster, visit the Fostering FAQ.

Will I be contacted?
This depends on a few things. If you passed the test 80% or over and you're a member of the forums, then you will NOT be directly contacted. Instead, you'll be added to the Billo Gold usergroup and will have access to a hidden board that contains all the info you need to get started.

If you passed, you will get the password. Non-forum users will receive a neomail with the password if they passed 80% or over. Those that didn't pass will not be contacted, as they can see their score for themselves.

I'm on the Approved Page, but I still don't have the password to add fosters. Help!
If you're listed as a Billo Gold foster but do not know the password to the orphanage listings, you've probably been inadvertantly skipped on being notified. If you can't see the Billo Gold board but you're listed on the approved page, then send a quick note to Janvix and let her know your problem. If neomailing, please be sure to neomail from the account listed on the Approved page as proof of your account.

Additionally, if any information on the Approved page has changed (a change in your TNO account, a change in forum name, etc) please contact Crystal or scififarscape to have this remedied as soon as possible.

Great, but I still have questions. Who do I contact?
Why one of the almighty Billo Gold Staff of course!
